When you purchase something on our site, we collect personal information from you including the credit card number and e-mail address to use for order confirmation. This information is collected on Web pages using encryption technology to help prevent any third party from intercepting the information. Your credit card information is only used for completing the purchase transaction and is NOT retained. We use the information provided by our customers to analyze product trends. This analysis helps us improve the quality of our Web site and product mix.
The Senior Safety App system does not log the phone number of the device, the device is only identified by the name you assign to it. This ensures the data remains anonymous.
Information saved in the Senior Safety App system is protected behind a firewall and completely inaccessible without the password you create, the information logged is discarded after a period of 60 days and from that time it’s impossible to recover it.
When you run the Senior Safety mobile app in your device, we collect location data through GPS, wifi, or cellular triangulation. We use this information to provide location tracking service on our website. We maintain this data only so long as it is reasonable to provide our service. The main purpose of the app is as a senior safety system. From one click emergency help (round robin calling for upto 5 contacts) requests to location tracking, fall alerts, in activity alerts and geo fencing all the features help keep seniors safe. When the App is active on the caregivers phone they will receive alerts for emergency help requests, falls, phone inactivity for an extended period of time, app installs or uninstalls, entry/exit from geo-locations, network changes (sim change), and low battery alerts. ALL data is removed from our database after 60 days of acquiring it or when the account is deleted.
When requesting information or a trial of our software, you may be asked to provide your email address. By providing your e-mail address, you are agreeing that Senior Safety App can send you important information about our products, including announcements of new releases. If you do not wish to receive email information from us click on the unsubscribe option on our emails.
Cookies are small text files a Web site uses to recognize repeat users, facilitate the user’s ongoing access to the site and facilitate the use of the site. “Cookies” also allow a site to track usage behavior and compile site usage information that will allow for the improvement of content. This information is anonymous and we use this information only internally – we never give away information about our users.
Our policy is not to disclose personally identifiable information to unrelated third unless required to do so by law or legal process. Senior Safety App, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to make exceptions to this policy in extraordinary circumstances (such as a suicide threat, or instances of suspected illegal activity) on a case-by-case basis. Although Senior Safety App will take reasonable measures not to disclose information about you or the contents of your communications, we may be compelled to do so in good faith if we believe that such action is reasonably necessary (a) to comply with the law; (b) to comply with any legal process; (c) to enforce these terms and conditions; (d) to respond to claims that any content violates the rights of third parties; (e) to facilitate the terms of an acquisition of Senior Safety App by, or merger with, another company or (f) to protect the interests of Senior Safety App or others.
